The recent scandal involving the City of Bell has made it clear that government (including local government) needs to be financially accountable, responsible, and transparent.
As a City Council member, I will oppose irresponsible and unfair spending, and I will be transparent, letting the people of Fullerton know exactly where their tax dollars are going. With the current budget shortfalls Fullerton is facing, I propose cutting committee stipends for City Council members.
I also believe in equity of city services, making sure roads and sidewalks are taken care of equally. I want to be an advocate for underrepresented and neglected neighborhoods.
